Great beat app

Proof that the idle clicking genre is goated. The sounds are magical

Weirdly enjoyable for 5 minutes.

Very cool game. Both audio and visuals are stunning. Love the sound design and inevitable chaos that insures. Very nice job!

Thanks!

Really enjoyed the ASCII style — gives it a unique charm! Cool clicker mechanic too.
If you have a moment, I’d love for you to check out my game as well: https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2025/rate/3774655 :)

Cool clicker! I really liked the progression and how the sounds are collected into musical patterns

better than grow a garden for sure

divine sound design

Usually not a big fan of incremental/idle/clicker games, but I kinda liked this one. I dunno what the upgrades were doing, but the beeping got faster. Loved the ASCII art

It's so simple and so ingenious… An aesthetic, complete game. It's addictive. I think I'll be playing this a lot now… Oh, terminal style, I like it so much! Good luck at the jam!

I literally lost track of time playing this. Before I know, I had surpassed the speed of light and transcended the laws of physics. Excellent game. Excellent locomotive industry, would invest 10/10!

this is a full game what the hell please make this an actual game (but I can't read wthout commas   so can you highlight the text for stuff you CAN buy?)

Love the design of the game! how it makes it's own music depending on what you upgrade is really cool. I hope you add more upgrades sometime! this is an awesome submission :)

I like how the game looks. More upgrades and graphs pls.

Great game beautiful simple ASCII art, good job!

Euclidean sequencer gamified! It's super satisfying.

I really like this game, can't wait to try it out again one the jam is over and see the updates! Some feedback, I think it'd be very helpful if there was some tooltip  explaining what the upgrades do. The speed, trains and stations one are self explanatory, but tbh I have no idea what wagons and advertising actually does.

I'm glad you enjoyed the game! I will try to tweak some things so the upgrades will be more clear.

I fell in love at the first screenshot! The UI is exactly my cup of tea! I love ascii art, especially charts/graphs, etc. Did you use an existing framework/library or is the UI all original? I also really like the sfx, it sort of reminds me of the circle of fifths (I'm not a music person, I've just heard OF it) which is super cool!

Only thing I would ask for is more explanation of what the upgrades do and what the charts mean. Does SPS stand for "Score Per Second"?  Also, I haven't gotten far enough to see any kind of "prestige" system yet, is there one?

I used the default UI system in Unity and tried to keep the fonts all monospaced.

I hope to get some updates out before the end of the jam to improve some of the things you mentioned. Like the clarity of the upgrades, also some additional upgrades and eventually a "prestige" system.

SPS is indeed "Score Per Second", but I might change the "currency" still.

I love this, 5/5

Love when new upgrades appear, my score skyrockets! Cool idea!

Very creative idea and the visuals/sound effects give it a nice charm!

it's like playing one of those youtube shorts where a shape bounces around and gets faster every time it hits a wall and also goes "plink"
